Gypsy Queen

 to my story of learning to sail in Southern California.  I moved here in September 2004 from  Georgia. I decided to learn to sail in 2005. It was June I think when I first signed up for lessons. I took a two day course at the UCLA Marina Aquatic Center in Marina del Rey. It consisted of two full Saturdays of fun in the classroom and in the water. Yes, I said "in" the water. We had to turn the little 14.2 Capri sailboats over and learn to get them back upright. It was really fun! I learned the points of sail and basic safety during this initial foray into the world of sailing.......cont'd on page 2
